HARLEQUINS DRAMA GROUP
The Harlequins Drama Group is for young performers aged 8 - 19 years. Entry to the group is upon audition only and regular audition workshops are held throughout the year.
The Harlequins is an exciting opportunity for young performers to get the chance to perform major musicals in a professional theatre in front of live audiences.
Students participate in weekly rehearsals which results in a major production at the end of term open to both family and the public.
Our students learn the essential performance skills plus many more techniques whilst having fun, meeting friends and building their own confidence. Being involved in a production also enhances those skills already acquired by the more experienced participant.
Students attend regular theatre trips, social events and workshops too!
All staff are CRB Checked with an Enhanced Disclosure and the group is fully insured with a trained first aider on site at all times.
The Harlequins are committed to the protection of our next generation and therefore all staff follow The Harlequins 'Child Protection Policy.' Each production is licenced with the local authorities with trained and approved chaperones supervising all participants backstage at all times.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Entry to the group is upon audition only.
Participants must be aged 8 - 19 years of age.
Rehearsals take place on a Sunday afternoon.
Rehearsals are based at The Woodrow Community Centre, Redditch.
Each member must wear the correct Harlequins uniform at all times.
Membership fees are due each term.
Productions are staged during June and December.
Members under the age of 16 must be signed both IN and OUT by an adult at each rehearsal/performance for child protection purposes.
Completed membership forms are required detailing emergency contacts, allergies and medical conditions.
