The Harlequins is a production company providing training in all three aspects of:
Acting, Singing and Dancing.
Members of The Harlequins gain their techniques and knowledge through rehearsals and being part of a production company.
We stage two productions a year and pride ourselves in providing First Class Entertainment.
The Harlequins was founded by Artistic Director Jonathan Southall in 2007
Jonathan Southall is a local performing Artist who after years of training and experience within theatre decided he wanted to pass his knowledge and passion of theatre to the next generation of aspiring actors. Jonathan's dedication and commitment to the arts is well known in the local area and his drama group is continuing to grow bigger each year. Jonathan runs the entire group and Directs all productions for The Harlequins. It truly is his 'baby'.
All our staff are police checked with an Enhanced CRB Certificate
Membership is open to ages 8 - 19 years of age.
